A summary of free resources

By Sandra Naranjo Bautista

Policy makers and development practitioners need a wide range of frameworks and tools when facing a policy challenge. Frameworks help us structure ideas and approach policy challenges in a systematic way.

A good framework can prevent us from having blind spots and omitting important factors in our analysis, especially if we are under pressure. Toolkits and tools are instruments that aim to facilitate and guide that structured thinking required to better understand and solve our problems.

One key factor to remind ourselves is that the objective shouldn’t be to use any particular tool, rather to identify our goal properly and use any of the frameworks and tools available to achieve that purpose. In this blog I share a compilation of free resources that I have found particularly useful with a brief explanation and links to access the documentation.
