SANDRA NARANJO BAUTISTA
Sandra has spent almost two decades working with governments — at ministerial level in Ecuador and as a consultant and Lead Specialist in Public Sector Management across Latin America and the Caribbean, Asia, and the Pacific. She knows how hard it is to translate good policy into real results. And how lonely that work can feel.
Better Govs is what she built for the practitioners in the middle of it: a free platform for public servants trying to make reform actually work. The focus is implementation — the how of policies, not just the what. It reaches readers in over 90 countries.
Her international work spans Latin America and the Caribbean, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, and Timor-Leste — with engagements across the IDB, World Bank, DFAT, and the NGO sector.
She has been a guest lecturer at Harvard and UTS, and a Centre Associate at ANU’s Development Policy Centre.
She holds a Bachelor’s in Economics and Finance from Universidad San Francisco de Quito and a Master’s in Public Administration and International Development from Harvard Kennedy School.
